There was a person who was really frustrating me everytime by saying a certain thing which was a mere assumption of that person btw. The person knows that i/we really get irritated when that was said. Me being me, i kept ignoring it. I really got angry once when it was said, but i decided to let it go one last time. "You did a big mistake... you rubbed the wrong side of me... I will make you regret for what you said" and what not, punch dialogues were flying left and right in my mind. But i just gave a dry smile and kept quiet.

My idea was, next time the person says that, i would shut the person's mouth for ever. I know
speaking of what would do that. I kept waiting for the person to talk about that particular thing/assumption. But, the person never talked about it. I even tried initiating a conversation on a related note and for a change this time that person ignored it. Maybe, the dry smile gave the person enough indication that i will really get mad the next time. kadaisila enna vadivel mathiri "dei sandaiku vaada, naanum rowdy thaanda"nu polamba vitutaanga...

Now, the person might never repeat. That is what i want. But, had i yelled at the person and then the person stopped saying that particular thing, i would have been much more happy. Some things got to be done the hard way. So, "when you wanna yell, yell. Dont wait"(courtesy: Tuco)

Talk about variety. The album Thalapathy has it all.

And you, Happy birthday again.

When i was a kid, my request to buy something for me was never declined. Ok, 9 out of 10 times it was not declined. The belief was that i would ask for something only if that is extremely necessary. Unfortunately, that was the truth as well. Wait,.. this was the story till i joined college. After i joined college, my mother ran out of reasons to not give me money to buy something.

A one day picnic was arranged in my school when i was studying 7th standard. Me and 2 of my friends decided that each one will bring 100 Rs on the picnic day. The night before the picnic, I asked my mother for 100 Rs and she told that 100 will be too much and 50 will be more than enough. The way it was said suggested that it would be useless to argue. You remember that 9 out of 10 time thing. This request fell under 1/10. I decided that i will manage with 50. But the shy kid I am, i was confused about what to say to my 2 friends. I gave it a long thought that night before sleeping.

Next day early morning i woke up and out of no where i decided not to go to picnic. I lied to everyone in my house that i am having a heavy headache. So, we came to a conclusion that i would continue to sleep and would not go to picnic. Looking back, skipping that picnic would go as one the most stupidest decision i have ever taken considering how silly the reason was.

If you are wondering why i am writing a decade long story about a picnic, I am going on a trip to Thailand tomorrow. Actual post was suppose to have the trip info alone but suddenly the school picnic thingy popped up.

Advance Happy Christmas and Happy New Year guys.

I am fond of catchy quotes. Today, i was reading some quotes and ended up in this link. http://www.wordinfo.info/words/index/info/view_unit/2988
There was one not-so-catchy quote "The dictionary is the only place where divorce comes before marriage." I thought of adding some more to the list. Here is what i could come up with,

Dictionary is the only place where

  • delete comes before new and free comes before malloc.
  • There is no Hate but Love between India and Pakistan.
  • Success, Fame, Promotion, Weekend and whatnot everything is few distance away.
  • Fuck is never spelled as f**k.
  • There is no Manager standing between You and Promotion.
  • Man is not behind Money.
  • Politician, Terrorist and Bullshit are not synonymous.
  • even the most complex things cannot be questioned. eg. existence of God, Life after Death and more importantly the classical 'Chicken-Egg which comes first' problem. There is answer for everything.
  • Blog is just yet another word.
Ok guys, enough of mokkai. get back to work.

I was on a booze spree last Saturday night. The fun started around 10 pm and ended around 4:30 am next morning. There was this guy,one of rizwan's team-mate who accompanied me. I was arguing with him about different things for the whole night. It was around 3:30 am and there was a discussion going on about Manchester United vs Chelsea. I and Ramak were arguing for Man U. I was arguing just for the sake of arguing. But the Chelsea guy was very seriously arguing. After a while i just wanted to cut the crap discussion and start a normal conversation.

Me: What does Chelsea mean?
Guy: Chelsea means organization,..(pause) co-ordination, discipline,....
Me: No, not that. What is the literal meaning of the word Chelsea.
Guy: That is what, Chelsea means organization, co-ordination,....(he was in no mood to give up)
Me(To myself): Ok boss,.. I surrender. You win.

Now i am wondering how many folks would have surrendered to me in the past unable to bare my repeated ramblings.

He: Hi Bournvita
She: Not Bournvita, its Ginger

She: I am fine ToughGuy

What is this all about. If that is what you are confused about. Stay confused. This post is for a selective set of audience.

For one last time, Sourav Ganguly was seen in the cricket field today. Bye Bye Dada. Here are my Ganguly favorites.

Favorite ODI innings.
183* vs SriLanka in 1999 World Cup at Taunton. That innings was a real massacre. After the match Srilankan bowlers would have thought that wearing diapers next time they bowl to Ganguly wouldn't be a bad idea after all.

Favorite Test Innings.
144* vs Australia in 2003 at Brisbane. If not for that innings, India would have lost the match.

Favorite Shot
Ganguly coming down the track and hitting a spinner for a six is the best sight during a cricket telecast only next to cheerleaders dancing and Sachin's straight drive.

Ganguly is the best
when it comes to slogging in the final overs of an ODI, its no Sachin, no Lara, no Ponting, its Sourav all the way.

Some kollywood punches to end the post.

Nongu edukkuravan Ganguly
P.S: Vishnu, I am expecting a post on Ganguly from you. It would be unfair if you dont do so.

BP: very clever.. huh?

EN: Thank you.

BP: How's that working out for you?

EN: What?

BP: Being clever.

Somehow, i find this dialogue very cool and catchy. I don't know why, but i wanted to use this in one of my conversation and i did it today. After seeing the reaction from the other person, i no more find this dialogue catchy or cool or funny.

P.S> this post was in my drafts for a long time. I don't know why i posted it now.

I saw this post in one of the blogs. Try solving

Here is a small C/C++ code snippet,

int n = 20;

for(i = 0; i < n; i--)

printf(”Hello World!”) ;

First try to find the answer to this program. It will obviously be an infinite loop or memory over flow or … The question is to make this snippet work and print the “Hello World!” 20 times correctly as if the statement i-- would have been i++.

The restriction however is to change only one ASCII character in this code. This means you can change, replace, move, introduce only one character to this program and the program still remains a valid C/C++ code. There are three possible ways I know to do this. May be there are more. If you find two then you are good, if three you are brilliant and if more than extraordinary ;)

hmmmmm...

No more foreplay, the real action begins tommorrow. India Vs Aus test series, the series that is gonna decide the fate of the fab-4.

My prediction is India wins the series 2-1.

Saroja
The movie was good. The problem is that the director has tried to make each scene look funny which has resulted in some serious mokkais. Premji takes the honors for most of the funny scenes and also most of the mokkais.

Raging Bull.
Awesome movie. Yet another Martin Scorsese-Robert De Niro-Joe Pesci movie. The movie is about the life of a self-destructive boxer(Robert De Niro). The movie has no story as such, it focuses on the personal life of him rather than his boxing life.
