If there is one quality which the Indian cricket team has mastered over the years, that is grooming new talents. But unfortunately, they groom talents of the opponent team. In 2001, when Australia came to India for a test series, a very little number of cricket followers would have known of this guy called Mathew Hayden. But after the test series was over, almost everyone was aware of Mathew Hayden. If some guy had not known him... then,... well.., the last thing that he knew about cricket was India won world cup in 1983.
119, 28*, 97, 67, 203 - Innings by innings score of Mathew Hayden in that series.

Chanderpaul is one guy who loves to play against India. Playing against India is always a cakewalk for him. You wake him in the midnight and threaten him "score a century tomorrow or else you will be hanged", he would coolly reply "Book me a flight ticket to India tomorrow" and he will get back to sleep. Such is the reputation that the Indian team has created for itself among its peers.

Not to forget Jayasuriya, Younis khan, Damien Martyn and the list continues. Believe me, there is atleast one guy like Mathew Hayden or Chanderpaul in each team except Zimbabwe and Bangladesh who have had their dream series against India..Ooops, did i say Zimbabwe. Andy Flower played a series of his lifetime against India in 2000.
183*, 70, 55, 232* - Bradmanisque, as some would say. He was ruthless against the toothless Indian bowling attack.
And its a matter of time before someone from Bangladesh finds a place in this elite list.

My take on the ongoing series, hmmm. what to say.. our team had shortlisted 3 players as of now. Vaughan, Pieterson, and Strauss. In the last series(2002) it was Vaughan(0, 100, 197, 61, 15, 195, 47*), let us wait and watch, who is the lucky one this time.

Today afternoon, i opened my Google reader to see if anyone have updated their blog. i just had a look at the blogs listed, Elixer of Life(Ganesh), In search of tranquility(Ramak), Its My Turn(Ajay), Reloaded(Jagan), somniloquism(Vatsan). Only then i noticed all the blogs that i have subscribed had an English title. Mine was the odd man out. So, i thought of changing my blog title.
I wasn't able to corelate my blog to any name instantly. I decided to get a random title. I opened the wordweb, just searched randomly. Somehow, i didn't like any of the names that i got. I was too lazy to think of or search for a new title. So, got back to work. But by end of the day, i zeroed out on this name "Mojito". Don't ask me how. So, from now on, the title of this blog is "Mojito".

@Suman: The title you suggested "Vetti Velaikku oru Vilambaram" was very much apt for my blog. But, i want an English title. your suggestion for any other English title will be considered.
